The New 2 inch Vudu Shrimp is absolutely the best bait for piers, docks, and night time fishing. If you fish under lights, you know that trout and reds love small shrimp gliding around the glow of the lights. For best results we recommend light spinning with 6-8lb test. A crappie rod is perfect. This little Vudu is also deadly on Crappie and panfish.

Building on its successful Vudu Shrimp line, Egret Baits has embarked on offering Vudu Shrimp accessories to enhance anglers’ experiences at catching even more speckled trout, redfish and flounder. We are announcing the development of two new Vudu Rattling Corks, an oval and a cone, offered in four different colors. Both the oval and cone Vudu Rattling Corks were meticulously designed with a short, tough spring stainless wire that flexes. The shorter wire is an improvement over many models as it will not kink and is very easy to flex with durability. The placement of actual brass balls on the bottom of the cork also adds to anglers’ casting distance. Also, a washer has been added between solid brass balls and the bottom O-ring of the cork, thereby ensuring a loud and effective “clacking” sound whenever the corks are popped on the water. This clacking” sound has been noted to effectively entice speckled trout and redfish when using Vudu Shrimp and other lures such as Egret Baits’ Wedgetail Mullets and Bayou Chubs. “It’s the brass beads hitting that washer which makes the sound that attract specks and reds,” said Egret Baits’ Ken Chaumont. “The clacking sound, shortened stainless wire and extended casting distance have demonstrated in many field tests that our new Vudu Rattling Corks are very effective in attracting fish,” he said.
